seat teleportation
In Space: The Conquest, there is more then one way to teleport around from place to place. All of the Viewing Glitches are capable of it, and seats are capable of it in a far more flexible, yet more time-consuming, way. For the pure purpose of saving people from repetition, Viewing Glitches Here, we'll only cover Seat Teleportation in this.
Seat Teleportation in itself however, has quite a few ways to move around. The two most common are Self Teleportation, and Teleportation Lines. More recently however, we've discovered a way to use Seat Teleportation to move buildings or ships, this is known as Object Teleportation. We'll cover how those three work, and how you can do it yourself, below.

self teleportation
Self Teleportation is a fairly simple thing to do, yet has a limited range as well. Unlike blocks which are limited to a maximum of 2048x in length, seats are limited in what a player can see. Obviously this can be abused using the Viewing glitches, which they are - and its how they work in the first place, but self-teleportation simply requires a player, and a seat. A player needs to take either a red or blue seat and hover it over the air around their, or another's, character until their body sits. From that point you simply put the seat down where you wish to teleport to.

teleportation lines
Teleportation Lines use seats in a different manner then Self Teleportation. Just like any other block, seats can be rotated in any direction you wish meaning it has unlimited flexibility. What makes them special over other blocks, is when you sit on a seat, you will move to the end of the seat. Teleportation Lines do just that, its a line of seats put together so that when a player moves from seat to seat, they are moving to the end of a seat and onto another one. These seats can be edit-meshed, transparented, colored, whatever, and will still function correctly, just hook them together and that's your teleportation line.

object teleportation
Object Teleportation allows players to actually teleport their ships or buildings as well as themselves and is the most advanced form of teleportation, especially when combined with Viewing Glitches, that involves Seats. Object Teleportation has a player hook themselves up to their ship or building as they would to Armor, See Here, and from that they use Self Teleportation to handle the rest. Combined with Anchor Glitch, if 2 players are involved you can teleport to another location or planet entirely, and testing with Multi-Dimensional Glitch has proved inconclusive so far.
